I first developed a survey that was mailed to men and women who were once morbidly obese. They had bariatric weight loss surgery performed at the hospitals JEG, Inc. represents. In a 38% response rate, they shared their feelings about the changes in their lifestyle before and after surgery ... wonderful, inspirational stories. Talk about getting impressive marketing mileage; I used their stories, with their before and after photos, in our direct mail campaign to prospects, in our quarterly newsletter and on the web site.
